The Summerset Place sectional title development, situated adjacent to the Sagewood Private School within the Midrand area, consist of two stands namely:
- Sagewood Extention 22, with 153 freestanding units and 32 multi storey apartments. This section of the development is completed and sold out
- Summerset Extension 19, planned to comprise 244 freestanding units and 36 Apartments
Civil works on the Sagewood section of the development commenced during August 2013. Works included the servicing of all internal stands as well as the upgrading of a traffic intersection at the corner of Lever and Liebenberg Roads 2km away from the development, the upgrade of a bulk waterline and the construction of a sever line through the property of the Sagewood School. As compensation for the registration of a sewer servitude through the school, Calgro M3 constructed three classrooms that was completed by April 2014.
Electrical infrastructure for the Sagewood portion commenced in October 2013, which included the laying of a 2km link cable to the development and the internal reticulation. In terms of the energy reduction requirements a fully reticulated Gas network were installed at the development. This ensured gas piping to each unit that is provided with a gas geyser and hob. Apart from this greening initiative, each unit was also fitted with a rainwater tank for garden irrigation purposes
From an architectural perspective the units were designed in a modern mono pitch roof style with a vibrant colour scheme that predominantly attracted the typical first time home buyer within the middle market segment. The project will provide clubhouse and swimming pool facilities for the residents.
